Use a actual CHR version image to download via wget, don't just copy the commands of the tutorials with older download links, some older versions of CHR did not have drivers for virtio disks and won't be able to boot inside a VPS from a provider which is using virtio disks. Find out what your VPS system is using for the virtual disks, like '/dev/sda' or is it '/dev/vda' for the disks. What a lot of tutorials I've seen aren't mentioning and can giving trouble: If you prefer some other provider, some linux knowledge is helpful and it should be no problem to install a CHR on any vps provider which is using kvm virtualisation. If you find a vps provider which is providing Mikrotik CHR as an OS option to install, it is the easiest way.
